Sales policy
JMF Audio applies the same prices for all distributors worldwide. The prices are normally revised on a yearly basis with prior notification. JMF Audio advises retail prices for Europe in Euros. The retail prices in the non-Euro area are subject to vary due to the currency exchange rates, additional shipping and handling costs, import duties and local taxes. The JMF Audio sales representatives are not allowed to artificially increase the prices or discount. Orders can only be considered as placed once accepted in writing by JMF Audio.
Delivery terms
The demand for JMF Audio products has increased steadily since 1985. The more the care for quality with time, the more the manufacturing of these Instruments for the Music® has become a long process. This includes hand crafting from the single electronic component placement on proprietary PGP™ 24 carat gold printed circuit boards to the assembly of the solid pieces of aluminum of the Orose® enclosures, individual control, testing and calibration after an operation period of at least 100 hours. Then a final verification by listening takes place in JMF Audio’s studios. Production quantity is consequently limited. In normal times, the lead time for catalogue products has been three months in average and up to five months, depending on the product model, the on-going manufacturing and the demand. Lead times cannot be shortened for exceptional reasons. New versions of existing models, new models and special demands require longer preparation.
Guarantee of uniqueness
The research and development department and the studios are part of the JMF Audio manufacture, located in France, and owned by a family of music loving engineers, the designers. All the aspects of the products that JMF Audio considers as critical are handled in-house ; from the electronic circuit diagram to the enclosure’s design and aesthetics, through the placement and hand soldering of bespoke components on the proprietary PGP™ 24 carat gold analog printed circuit boards. Strict confidentiality and quality engagements are signed by the JMF Audio personnel as well as by the shops manufacturing key elements to JMF Audio’s specifications in France. Patents, intellectual properties as well as trademarks registrations also attest of another form of protection for some of the innovations.
Warranty, Support and Returns
JMF Audio submits each instrument to a series of calibrations and stringent tests during the manufacturing process. This allows JMF Audio to now provide an up-to five-year international limited warranty against manufacturing defects to the original purchaser, for analog products, mains filters and cables made by JMF Audio and purchased new from an authorized JMF Audio retailer.
The Trouble Shooting section of the Owner’s Manual should be consulted first for problem solving. The local JMF Audio representative shall be contacted for advices prior to all claim for service, giving a detailed description of the issue. Basic repairs may be carried out by authorized agents only. Should a return shipment be arranged, a Return Authorization number and a suitable time frame for the service would be provided by JMF Audio.
The detailed warranty terms, product registration information as well as the return terms, can be found in the Owner’s Manual accompanying the product. Alternatively, the local JMF Audio distributor can advise and provide an up-to-date copy of this manual.
Versions and Upgrades
JMF Audio’s products are designed to be references and to last. The base of these instruments is safe and modular. The evolution of a model is denoted by a new Version letter. The model’s Version (B, C, D...) is indicated by a silver badge located on the rear panel and is linked to the product serial number in JMF Audio's data base.
The original owner can take advantage of the results of JMF Audio’s continuous research and development efforts and access the advancements of more recent Versions, without the need for product change. Upgrades are carried out at the JMF Audio manufacture only. The JMF Audio distributors and retailers can inform about the prices.

It is always recommended to acquire JMF Audio products through authorized distributors and retailers.
